Our Story
Established in 2004, Konantiques was founded in the way that most businesses are - the student goes on his own after learning from his teacher. This was the case when our founder - Peter, decided that it was time to pursue his dream of starting a small business, and utilizing the years of experience in the industry gained by working at an auction house for over 10 years. Naming the company after his son Konrad, Konantiques was formed - destined to become a family business. Today, 20 years after its conception, the company is run by father and son duo, proudly serving the NY Tri-State Area, offering on-the-spot buyouts, appraisals, as well as access to 30 years of connections to ensure that our customers are treated with the utmost respect and care, receiving top dollar for their prized possessions.
